A photographic journey through Academy Award history from 1979 to 2014 featuring artists and photographers of the Virginian-Pilot GALA OPENING RECEPTION | TUE, APR 21 | 6PM Join us as we honor veteran film critic Mal Vincent's near 50 years of Oscar preditctions as well as the artists and photographers of the Virginian-Pilot. Mal will speak about his past and future predictions, as well as his trips to the Oscars, followed by a reception. ALSO DISPLAYED IN THE VIBE CREATIVE DISTRICT AT THE OCEANFRONT LIBRARY A collaborative exhibition by students and teachers from Tallwood High School, Green Run Collegiate and Bayside High School inspired by MOCA’s exhibition, Ryan McGinness: Studio Visit. Art students from the three Virginia Beach high schools came together to collaborate on a community project based on the concept of Iconography.
