ON VIEW MAY 6 - JULY 18, 2021
Through the ongoing partnership between Virginia MOCA and Virginia Beach City Public Schools, the annual Teaching Artist Exhibition is typically on view in Fleming Gallery during the month of May. Our institutions are committed to the professionalization and visibility of teachers as artists, not just educators. A teaching artist fuses the skills, practices, and awareness of an artist into their instructional practice. This exhibition provides an opportunity to celebrate the teacher as the artist.
If interested in purchasing an artwork that is marked with a price, please contact Christopher Buhner, VBCPS Visual Arts Coordinator, at cjbuhner@vbschools. Artworks not for sale are marked NFS.
