Old Dominion Center & Virginia Beach Middle School
This exhibition celebrates the achievements of elementary and middle school Visual Arts Students of Old Donation Center and Virginia Beach Middle School. The Visual Arts Program is designed to extend SOL objectives through differentiated instruction necessary to challenge artistically gifted students. Personal growth and enhancement of thinking and learning strategies that contribute to self-development and positive attitudes toward others are emphasized.
This exhibition highlights the creativity of both students and teachers from the Visual Arts Program, encourages public support for quality school art programs, and highlights the value and importance art education plays in Virginia schools.
