Selections from the AIGA SHRED Skateboard Art Show

MOCA has partnered with AIGA Hampton Roads to exhibit a selection of skateboards from their annual SHRED Design Competition.  In 2014, over 50 graphic artists submitted skatedeck designs to be judges by a panel of art professionals. AIGA held the annual event at MOCA, where all skatedecks were displayed and awards were presented. In addition to the awards presented by AIGA, MOCA's Curators selected 19 of the skatedecks to be exhibited in MOCA's Community Gallery January 31 - Apri1 19 2015.
