Satellite Gallery: The Art of the ViBe 2

December 12, 2019 – October 3, 2020

Opening Reception: Thursday, December 12, 5-7pm, free admission. MOCA Satellite Gallery at 600 22nd Street, Pavilion II

The Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) proudly presents The Art of the ViBe 2, an exhibition celebrating eight visual artists who contribute to the rich, vibrant culture of Virginia Beach’s thriving ViBe Creative District.

The Museum began with Virginia Beach artists supporting each other through exhibitions and this initiative is a proud continuation of that creative spirit. The ViBe is home to a broad spectrum of creative talent. From the visual arts, to gastronomy, and hand-made artisan goods, each inspires the next.

Each artist featured in this exhibition shares their time and talent to better our neighborhood and region. The Art of the ViBe 2 is a wonderful way to connect, collaborate, and celebrate their creativity.

Organized by The Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) and curated by Alison Byrne, Director of Exhibitions and Education. MOCA would like to thank The ViBe Creative District and The Runnymede Corporation for their help in realizing this exhibition.
