Frederick Wiseman takes audiences behind the scenes of one of the great museums of the world, the National Gallery in London, UK. This film explores the personality of a museum inhabited by over 2400 masterpieces. The collection includes work from the Middle Ages to the 19th Century. National Gallery shows how this museum works and relates with the world, its staff and public, and its paintings.
