Students will virtually explore the Virginia MOCA galleries and look to contemporary art for inspiration as they learn the visual language of line, shape, color, value, texture, and space. Young artists will use these fundamental skills to draw and paint original works of art while they discover their own artistic voice for creative expression. The first class will begin with a live virtual tour of the current exhibitions, and all other classes will use exhibition content for reference and inspiration. Register for the entire block of sessions so that your student doesn’t miss a project or register for individual sessions based on your schedule.
