Collage Creation (Ages 9-12)

Collage is a fundamental aspect of mixed media artmaking which allows young artists so much freedom to create textures and forms. Students will learn about layering various materials to give rich qualities to their surfaces and how to transform found materials to express themselves.

A basic materials kit will be provided for all registered students. Kits will be available for pickup at Virginia MOCA the week before the first class.
