Artist Christine K. Harris wants us to wake up. Too often we move through life, head down, involved in our personal problems in our minds and on our screens. But, if we just look up and around, there is a possibility for deep insight. We have the opportunity to recognize the ties that bind everything together into a whole: People, plants, insects, and animals. Everything that lives has connection to everything else. Learning to pay close, thoughtful attention to the natural world is a process whose story continues to unfold.
Christine K Harris is a sculptor and part time art therapist. She earned a Master’s Degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in art therapy. She has practiced art therapy or taught process oriented art classes for 15 years. After spending many years teaching art to others, Harris has recently transitioned to creating art full time.
