ART.WRITE.NOW is the first-ever traveling exhibition showcasing teen-produced, winning artwork from the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.  The Tour makes stops in Detroit, Virginia Beach, Kansas City and Fort Worth.  The stop at the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) includes the winning works of four Virginia teenagers ranging from 7th to 12th grade.
 
Artists and writers showcased in ART.WRITE.NOW follow in the footsteps of distinguished alumni of the Awards, including: Robert Redford, Andy Warhol, Zac Posen, Richard Avedon, Lena Dunham, Sylvia Plath, John Lithgow, Abdi Farah (winner of the Bravo reality show Work of Art: The Next Great Artist) and John Baldessari.
 
ART.WRITE.NOW Tour 12/13 exposes audiences nationwide to the most stunning examples of work from the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. These incredible emerging artists, writers and filmmakers were selected as the “best in the country” by top professionals in the visual and literary arts.
