Previous Exhibitions

1999-2009: A Region Collects showcased works owned by local glass collectors and aimed to highlight the significance of glass art in Hampton Roads. Works by Preston Singeltary, Richard Royal, Stanislav Libensky/Jaroslava Brychtova, Toots Zynsky, Josh Simpson, Dale Chihuly and many more were on display.

This exhibition was part of a regional collaboration--including the Contemporary Art Center of Virginia (now MOCA), Chrysler Museum of Art and the Virginia Arts Festival--known as Art of Glass 2. The first Art of Glass collaboration was in 1999 and featured the world-famous Dale Chihuly.
